Kleibeuker Global Solutions (KGS) is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, owned by Jethro Kleibeuker. KGS is the controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What personal data we collect
You can read this website without giving us any personal data. We only process personal data that you choose to share with us:
- When you contact us by email or LinkedIn: your name, email address, organisation (if provided) and the content of your message.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter (once available): your email address and, if you provide it, your name and organisation.
- When we work together: contact and billing details needed to prepare proposals, contracts and invoices.
Our hosting provider also processes technical data, such as IP addresses in server logs, to keep the website secure and running.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss possible services: our legitimate interest, or steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver services and send invoices: performance of a contract and our legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping.
- To send the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To keep the website secure: our legitimate interest.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with service providers that help us run KGS, under a data processing agreement where required. These include our web hosting provider (TransIP, the Netherlands), our bookkeeping software and, once launched, our newsletter service. We use providers that store data within the European Union wherever possible.
How long we keep it
- Correspondence about enquiries: up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to an assignment.
- Contract and invoice records: seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies and statistics
This website only uses functional cookies that are needed for it to work. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.
To understand how the website is used, we keep basic visitor statistics with Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs on our own website. It does not use cookies and does not share data with third parties. Visitors are only counted through an anonymised, one-way code. We only see aggregated information, such as which pages are visited and which websites refer visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (SSL), two-factor authentication for website administration and regular updates and back-ups.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, email jethro@kleibeukerglobalsolutions.nl. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may update this policy, for example when we launch the newsletter or community features. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
